Former Tiffany employee pleads guilty to theft in NY

A former employee of Tiffany & Co., the famous New York based jeweler, has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $2 million worth of jewelry from the company. The woman was a vice president of product development, so she was able to check out jewelry from the company to show potential manufacturers. After the woman left her position, it was discovered that she had 164 items checked out that had not been returned.

Traffic stop leads to DUI charges for New York man

A resident of Brewster, New York, has reportedly been charged with a DUI after a traffic stop. According to the reports, officers noticed the 29-year-old driving erratically on Railroad Street early in the morning. The officers who pulled the Brewster man over stated that he was intoxicated at the time. The police officers searched the Brewster man and reported that he was in possession of cocaine.

New York man accused of stealing numerous catalytic converters

A 30-year-old New York man was taken into custody in connection with a series of catalytic converter thefts in the Glen Falls area. Several new and used car dealerships reported stolen catalytic converters in the days prior to his arrest. He is also being charged for several alleged converter thefts in the South Glen Falls area.

New York store owner arrested for drug offenses

According to Saratoga Springs Police, a variety shop owner was taken in custody on June 27 on drug charges after a traffic stop. The 46-year-old store owner has been accused of drug trafficking and possession. He faces a third-degree charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Also, he was charged with seven counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Scarsdale mother of three pleads not guilty to drug charges

A Westchester County, New York woman from the affluent Village of Scarsdale has been charged with manufacturing and possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and maintaining a drug-involved premises. Authorities report that acting pursuant to a warrant US Drug Enforcement Agents discovered $3,000,000 worth of dried marijuana, 2,800 marijuana plants and a highly sophisticated grow operation in the woman's Queens, New York warehouse.
